Santander inaugura Feria de Día con 30 casetas y dos food trucks en cuatro zonas

The mayor of Santander, Gema Igual, and the president of the Cantabria Hospitality Business Association, Eduardo Lamadrid, inaugurated the 2025 Day Fair on Friday. The fair is located in four areas of the city, specifically in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza de Pombo, Plaza Alfonso XIII, and Parque de Mesones, offering a pincho and a drink for 4 euros.

The fair consists of a total of 30 stalls and two food trucks and will be open during this Semana Grande until Sunday, July 28. This gastronomic proposal has become an «essential part» of the Santander festivities, as highlighted by the mayor, who thanked the collaboration and interest of the participating establishments and encouraged residents and visitors to enjoy this event.

In the 30 stalls and two food trucks, the public can choose from a variety of pinchos throughout the city. They will be open every day from 12:00 to 00:30, extending the hours until 01:30 on Saturdays and holiday eves.

By areas, there will be five stalls in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento; eight stalls in Plaza de Pombo; nine stalls and two food trucks in Alfonso XIII; and eight stalls in Mesones.

The participating establishments and companies include: Teo Casa de Comidas, El Templo de la Carne, Cafetería Dharma, Carniball, La Chirigota, La Cavada de Pedro (2), Bar Pacho, Sidrería Cachopo (3), Vestia Napoletana, Tapas 53 (2), Sucré, La Gatera, La Carnaza, Restaurante El Muelle, Cafetería Cazoña, Las Tortillas del Manila, Las Carolinas, El Trébol (2), Café Bar Bambú, Peñas Arriba, La Cantina del Prado, Street Foodies Orígenes, Bar Los Amigos, Shabona, and Pachós International Food.

MERCADO MARINERO

Additionally, the mayor also attended the opening of the Maritime Market with craft stalls with a maritime essence, which will be open every day of the festivities in Plaza Alfonso XIII from 11:30 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00.

Jointly organized by the City Council and the Cultural Maritime Market Association of Santander, it features a total of 22 stands where visitors can find all kinds of accessories, crafts, jewelry, ceramics, games, handbags, costume jewelry, and handicrafts, all set in a maritime style, highlighting the essence of the sea in the city of Santander.

There is also a stand provided to the Santander Economic Kitchen, where visitors can purchase various items made by its users.
