Santander registra rachas de viento de 73 km/h

Santander is one of the places where the wind has been strongest so far today, as it has recorded gusts of 73 kilometers per hour overnight.
Specifically, this record was set at 3:30 a.m., which is the seventh highest recorded by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) in the entire country, with data updated until 8:30 a.m.
Thus, it has only ranked behind the 81 km/h in Cañar, in the Sierra Nevada National Park (Granada); the 80 km/h in Estaca de Bares (La Coruña) and Matxitxako (Vizcaya); the 77 km/h in Valdezcaray (La Rioja) and the 74 km/h in Cerler (Huesca) and Cabo Peñas (Asturias).
Following the record in Santander, in Cantabria there have been gusts of 63 km/h at the airport, 57 km/h in San Vicente de la Barquera; 56 km/h in Sierrapando (Torrelavega) and 53 km/h in Castro Urdiales, all between midnight and 3:30 a.m.
In fact, from 00:00 to 4:00 a.m., the Cantabrian coast has been under orange alert for coastal conditions due to west winds.
Furthermore, starting at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, there will be a yellow alert for rain in Liébana, central and Villaverde valley, and Ebro Cantabria.
