Carteles de la Feria de Santiago en Santander 2025

Roca Rey, who will perform a double, Morante and Juan Ortega in a mano a mano, Talavante and Cayetano in their farewell are some of the figures that will participate this summer in the Feria de Santiago de Santander.

The manager of the company that manages the Cuatro Caminos bullring, Lances de Futuro, José María Garzón, together with the mayor of Santander, Gema Igual, presented the bullfighting schedule on Wednesday, which also highlighted the rejones with Cartagena and Ventura or the return of El Cid and the «legendary iron» of Miura.

«A season ticket where toreros of great projection like Fernando Adrián, Galván, Borja Jiménez, Castaño, or Fortes will be present, as well as Jarocho and the debut of Marco Pérez as a matador,» pointed out Garzón, who detailed that Escribano and De Justo will also pass through the Cuatro Caminos bullring, not forgetting Lances de Futuro’s commitment to young talents by organizing a bullfight with picadors once again.

The 2025 Feria de Santiago will offer six bullfights, one rejoneo, one novillada, and a recortadores contest, between July 19 and 27, with lower prices than the previous edition.

These novelties were presented at a gala held at the Casyc, attended by toreros Borja Jiménez and Damián Castaño, and novillero Bruno Aloi, as well as numerous members of the Santander bullfighting clubs and fans, advisors, military authorities, and others.

Igual expressed her gratitude to Lances de Futuro and Garzón for organizing the fair and shaping a lineup «that brings together the top figures of bullfighting,» giving opportunities to young toreros and novilleros.

Likewise, she praised the Santander bullring as a «reference point» for bullfighting enthusiasts and hailed the work of the clubs, defining them as «enthusiastic and loyal.»

«Due to tradition, quality, and passion, Santander is establishing itself as the great Fair of Northern Spain, which is why in 2025 a greater effort has been made, with the presence of Miura and Victorino, and an additional bullfight,» she highlighted.

She also thanked the Board of Directors of the Bullring, led by its president, Indalecio Sobrino.

«We believe in the artistic, social, and economic value that the Fiesta represents for our city, and we demonstrate it not only in words but in actions,» she emphasized, recalling the significant improvements made to the Cuatro Caminos bullring in recent months, modernizing its facilities, strengthening its structure, and paying attention to details to provide toreros, breeders, and fans with the space they deserve: a comfortable, safe arena befitting Santander’s stature,» she said.

Garzón, on his part, highlighted, «We are once again presenting a great fair in Santander, with many attractions,» such as Roca Rey’s double performance and his presence in the Victorino bullfight, among others.

«We are making a great effort to design a fair that lives up to the enthusiasm of Santander’s fans, with an additional event and a reduction in prices for season tickets and tickets,» he stressed.

Finally, Garzón thanked the mayor for once again supporting Lances de Futuro, not forgetting the Bullring’s Board of Directors, the clubs, and the fans in general, stating, «Without their support, this fair would not have the relevance it holds.»

The fair will begin on Saturday, July 19, with a novillada by El Parralejo for Diego Bastos, Bruno Aloi, and El Mene, while on Sunday 20, there will be a rejoneo with bulls from Los Espartales for the mano a mano between Andy Cartagena and Diego Ventura.

On Monday, the 21st, Fortes, Fernando Adrián, and Borja Jiménez will face bulls from Juan Pedro Domecq; on Tuesday the 22nd, Manuel Escribano, David Galván, and Damián Castaño will confront Miura bulls; and on Wednesday the 23rd, the Corrida de Beneficencia will take place with bulls from El Pilar, Domingo Hernández, and Álvaro Núñez for Morante and Juan Ortega in a mano a mano.

Thursday, July 24th, will see the diestros Talavante, Emilio de Justo, and Marco Pérez facing bulls from El Puerto de San Lorenzo and La Ventana del Puerto; Friday the 25th, Victorino Martín’s bulls will be fought by El Cid, Roca Rey, and Jarocho; and on Saturday the 26th, the bullfights will conclude with bulls from Domingo Hernández for Cayetano, in his farewell year, Juan Ortega, and Roca Rey.

The Feria de Santiago will conclude on Sunday the 27th with a recortes contest.

The dates for ticket sales at the bullring ticket office are as follows: season ticket renewal, from July 3 to 7; sale of new season tickets, from 8 to 9; Youth Season Ticket, on the 10th; and single ticket sales starting from July 14.
