El parlamento discutirá transporte sanitario y Proyecto Protonterapia en sesión plenaria.

The Cantabria parliament will hold its first plenary session of 2025 on Monday, February 3, addressing issues such as housing law compliance, healthcare transportation, the institutional trip of President María José Sáenz de Buruaga, and the Protonterapia Project at Valdecilla Hospital. The session will commence at noon with a motion from Vox regarding promotional measures.

During the session, opposition groups will present five inquiries to the regional government. Regionalists will focus on ensuring quality and public attention at the regional agricultural office, while socialists will inquire about scientific law compliance. Additionally, Vox will seek explanations on regulating drug deposits in social assistance centers and addressing the lack of investments in the Lebaniego road infrastructure.

As is customary, groups will direct questions to President María José Sáenz de Buruaga. Regionalists will inquire about the commitment to building free housing in unique regional interest plans (PSIR) and ensuring that private interests do not take precedence over accessible housing needs. They will also address midwife shortages and healthcare services in La Gándara, along with queries related to the President’s institutional trip to Mexico.

PSOE will question the industrial production data delay in November 2024 and planned actions to reverse the 10.40% decrease. Their inquiries will also cover MultiPorquera Multi-Bara and the Protonopia Project at Valdecilla Hospital. Vox aims to understand why government-dependent processes have been simplified, delaying effective implementation despite bureaucratic urgency.

The session will conclude with additional Vox questions regarding aid payments for lost potato crops and the absence of planned calls for housing rehabilitation despite budget allocation in 2025.
